Job Title: Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development expertise in Ruby on Rails, experience working in agile teams, and willingness to transition into Java-based development in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Technical
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Gradually learn and contribute to Java-based applications and services.
- Assist in system architecture decisions and technology upgrades.
Non-Technical
- Guide and mentor junior developers in Ruby on Rails best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and product managers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams during night shift hours.
Required Skills

Job Title: Sterling Integrator Developer

Role Overview
The EDI Sterling Integrator Developer designs, develops, and maintains B2B/EDI integration solutions using IBM Sterling Integrator. The role focuses on data mapping, business process configuration, trading partner management, and troubleshooting to ensure secure and efficient data exchange between companies.
Key Responsibilities
Technical
- Develop complex maps using formats such as XML, EDIFACT, SAP IDOC, and CSV.
- Independently manage logistics and onboard international trading partners, implement API/JSON mapping setups, and create typing service and document extraction maps.
- Copy existing enveloping setups and handle intricate logic, including while loops and JAVA user exits, within the Map Editor flow of execution.
- Develop, update, and maintain Sterling Integrator maps of medium and high complexity across file formats (XML, JSON, Positional, EDI, Delimited, CSV).
- Work on EDI logistics transactions (204, 990, 214, 997 & 210).
- Collect requirements and handle design, development, and end-to-end testing of maps and trading partner configurations.
- Evaluate and analyze customer EDI business requirements, arrange communication setup, and develop Sterling Integrator maps to implement mutually agreeable EDI solutions.
- Apply strong knowledge of business process development and the Sterling dashboard to run and troubleshoot BPs.
- Apply strong knowledge of Managed File Transfer.
Non-Technical
- Coordinate daily EDI operations with B2B, ERP, OM teams, customers, and stakeholders.
- Handle onboarding projects independently and provide project updates via SCRUM tools.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in Sterling Integrator mapping and EDI X12 standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
